Thank you for all your help and for the grant towards clearing the credit card debt and the new laptop. It is a huge relief and I am moved by your response and very grateful. I never under estimate your kindness and help in every way. I’ am hoping things improve next March when I will be eligible for my state pension. It will provide me with an extra income and give me more options in life. Thank you to you all, wishing you well and safe during these difficult times. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
I must admit I was little embarrassed having to ask for help from the Charity. But the one thing I learned when I spoke to my first contact was that they do not judge. I was at my wits end; I’d had a very bad accident and I could no longer work. The quarterly grant really helped me pay bills that I would have really struggled to pay. Then they very generously gave me a grant for essential repairs for my house.
When you need help, they do all they can to help you; do not be afraid to ask for help, this charity is brilliant.
The cost of living and energy bill increases are only afforded because of the help I receive.
I would have struggled to pay for day to day living costs, and to care for my wife without the help received.
I appreciate the regular visits, and the help I received to buy a new washing machine.
In the early days when I first applied the Charity transformed my life and gave me basics. Its the little things that mean a lot, cakes, cards and the visit from the Field Welfare Officer.
The quarterly grant for bills is really helpful and it is so lovely to receive a card and gift at Christmas. The grant for the laptop was life changing as everything is online and it is a massive form of communication especially during lockdown. Thank you very much.
The charity helped to pay for serious tree damage after a big storm, which gave me and my family great relief. We were extremely grateful.
Help from the Charity has calmed my anxiety and worry. It is reassuring to know that there is a safety net for me.
